Elephant Baby Shower Guest Book Alternative: Blue or Pink?

The real choice is color and wording, not function

Both elephant baby shower guest book alternatives do the same job: guests sign a wooden elephant insert and drop it into a shadow box frame, creating a 3D keepsake instead of a paper sign-in book. The blue version says "Oh Boy!" in gold foil above the inner frame; the pink version says "Oh Baby!" in gold foil. That wording is the clearest signal for a boy or girl shower, though the pink option also works when you want a softer, gender-neutral baby keepsake.

The blue and pink frames share the same dimensions and display hardware. The main differences are the color palette, the phrase above the frame, and the price. The blue version is listed at USD 24.13 (catalog comparison price USD 33.99); the pink is USD 25.49 (catalog comparison price USD 33.99).

What both frames include

• Baby Shower Guest Book Alternative - Elephant Baby Shower (Blue): Includes 1 guestbook, 30 wooden elephant inserts, and 1 pre-written tent card. No assembly required. The 30 inserts set a practical ceiling on signatures per frame, and the tent card gives guests clear instructions without you writing a sign.

• Baby Shower Guest Book Alternative - Elephant Baby Shower (Pink): Includes 1 guestbook, 30 wooden elephant inserts, and 1 pre-written tent card. No assembly required. The pink version matches the blue on insert count and setup, so you are not trading capacity for color.

Photo size, display, and materials are identical

Both frames hold a 3" x 5" personal photo in the inner frame. The blue version is described with a baby elephant catching stars in his net and two elephants above the photo frame; the pink version shows two baby elephants holding heart-shaped balloons and a baby elephant above a pink banner. Both are made of a wood frame, paper backing, and metal hooks, and both measure 11.18" w x 13.1" h x 1" d. Each has functioning hooks for hanging in the nursery and an easel back for tabletop display.

Because the hardware and dimensions match, your decision comes down to the color story you want in the nursery and at the shower. The blue frame leans into a moon-and-stars motif; the pink frame leans into balloons and a banner. Neither is confirmed by the supplied information to include a mounting screw or wall anchor, so plan your hanging method around the metal hooks.

Blue vs pink at a glance

• Blue (product 1831341): Blue watercolor background, "Oh Boy!" in gold foil, moon-and-stars motif, 30 wooden elephant inserts, 3" x 5" photo insert, easel back and metal hooks. USD 24.13 (catalog comparison price USD 33.99).
• Pink (product 1831342): Pink watercolor background, "Oh Baby!" in gold foil, heart-balloon and banner motif, 30 wooden elephant inserts, 3" x 5" photo insert, easel back and metal hooks. USD 25.49 (catalog comparison price USD 33.99).

Which one fits your shower?

Choose the blue frame if you are hosting a boy shower and want the "Oh Boy!" wording to do the theme work for you. Choose the pink frame if you are hosting a girl shower and prefer the "Oh Baby!" phrase, which reads slightly more neutral if you are keeping the gender a surprise or simply prefer pink. If you are planning a display table, both frames stand on an easel back; if you plan to hang the keepsake in the nursery after the shower, both include metal hooks.

One practical limit applies to both: 30 wooden inserts. For a shower with more than 30 signing guests, you will need a plan for overflow signatures—either a second frame or a separate advice-card activity. The supplied information does not list extra inserts sold separately, so confirm availability before relying on add-ons.

Keepsake details worth checking before you buy

• Baby Shower Guest Book Alternative - Elephant Baby Shower (Blue): The blue frame features a custom picture insert and "Oh Boy" set in gold foil above the inner frame. The wording is fixed, so the blue frame is best suited to a boy-focused shower theme.
• Baby Shower Guest Book Alternative - Elephant Baby Shower (Pink): The pink frame features "Oh Baby!" set in gold foil and allows a 3" x 5" personal photo, such as an ultrasound or a photo of the parents-to-be. The more neutral phrase and pink palette give you flexibility if you want a keepsake that works beyond a single gender reveal.
